- Facilitating student and faculty exchanges and establishing joint educational programs
- Developing support and opportunities for faculty members to engage in international research and study in priority fields
- Supporting partnerships between the university and faculty for participation in international research projects
- Assessing potential for establishing academic chairs
- Offering short-term specialized academic programs and, in some cases, developing joint degree programs
- Organizing informational sessions on scholarships such as Erasmus, DAAD, Jundi Shapur, Humboldt, etc., for students and faculty
- Identifying and creating opportunities for specialized summer schools in different countries
- Facilitating the establishment of specialized academic chairs in potential regions
