Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tashkent Announces:
Professors of Persian Language from Samarkand and Tashkent State Institutes to Attend Teacher Training Program at Imam Reza International University
Dr. Amir Saeed Karami, the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tashkent, announced during his meeting with the Director of International Affairs of Imam Reza International University the upcoming dispatch of a group of Persian language professors from the universities of Samarkand and the State Institute of Oriental Studies in Tashkent to the university. They will participate in a Persian Language Teacher Training Program organized by the university’s Center for Persian Language Instruction.
Referring to the proposal put forth by Dr. Davoudi and the request of a number of Persian language faculty members from both universities to participate in advanced and in-service training programs in Persian language education, Dr. Karami stated that this initiative follows the fruitful visit of the delegation from the Astan Quds Razavi Scientific and Cultural Organization and aims to implement the agreements made during that visit.
He further noted that the necessary diplomatic and consular coordination to facilitate this process is currently being carried out by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tashkent.
It is worth mentioning that the Director of International Affairs of Imam Reza International University, along with the delegation from the Astan Quds Razavi Scientific and Cultural Organization, is currently visiting Uzbekistan to promote international academic cooperation.
