Issuance of Study Residency
- Request for registration of residency in the SAORG system and approval by the Student Affairs Organization of the Ministry of Science.
- Submission to the Provincial Consulate for approval (if submitted physically).
- Issuance of study residency by the Immigration Police, obtaining, and submission of a visa by the applicant to the University Consular Office.
- The time required for the issuance of residency is 15 to 30 days.
Note: The maximum duration of the issued study residency is one year, and it needs to be renewed annually. The student is required to visit the University Consular Office one month before the expiration of their residency.
Documents Required for Issuance and Renewal of Residency:
- Certificate of enrollment (issued after the introduction of the individual to the Education and Accounting departments, which is contingent upon the student’s submission of their approved student visa to the University Consular Office).
- Registration in the SAORG system and receipt of confirmation from this system.
- Original and scanned copy of the passport’s first page.
- Scanned photo of the individual in the required official format.
- Original and scanned copy of the visa.
- Completed residency issuance form for the Immigration Police.
- Payment of the FARAJA(Public Security Police) special fee.
Note: As of September 2024, according to the Immigration Police’s announcement, individuals over the age of 18 must include the result of their background check from the Hafiz Samen Fingerprint Center, located in Mashhad, Rahnamayi Square, between Dastgheib 4 and 6, in the documents submitted to the Immigration Police. Otherwise, their study residency will not be issued.
Documents Required for the Fingerprint Center:
- Copy of the first page of the passport
- One passport-sized photo.
