Ethic Committee

The Ethics Committee for Biomedical Research was established in 2021 (1400 in the Iranian calendar) at Imam Reza International University. This committee operates under the National Committee for Ethics in Research, affiliated with the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. All research projects, including theses, doctoral dissertations, and research proposals from faculty members and students that involve sensitive topics and human or animal subjects, must be conducted in compliance with the ethical standards and regulations outlined in the Research Ethics Guidelines. Therefore, all proposed research topics must receive approval from the university’s Ethics Committee before commencement; otherwise, they will be regarded as research misconduct.
