Signing of an International Academic Cooperation Agreement between Imam Reza International University and Al-Kunooz University College in Basra
The most recent memorandum of understanding (MoU) of Imam Reza International University was signed during an official visit to Iraq, hosted by Al-Kunooz University College. This comprehensive agreement focuses on a joint research program titled “Artificial Intelligence and the Management of Holy Atabat”, which is scheduled to be held soon at Imam Reza International University. The upcoming symposium will bring together more than 70 professors and academic staff from various Iraqi universities, in coordination with Al-Kunooz University College.
Al-Kunooz University College, located in Basra, Iraq, is a private higher education institution established in 2012. It offers programs in law, computer engineering technology, business administration, medical laboratories, dentistry, pharmacy, and biomedical engineering, and currently enrolls over 7,600 students. Among its notable facilities and achievements are a 125-chair educational dental clinic, ISO certification, and the organization of international medical conferences. The university actively collaborates with the University of Basra and the Iraqi Medical Research Society, with the mission of providing high-quality education and training skilled professionals to meet the demands of Iraq’s job market.
