Imam Reza International University hosted a delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science, Iraq, for a meeting with Dr. Daneshifar, President of the university, to explore opportunities for expanding academic, educational, and cultural cooperation. Dr. Daneshifar welcomed the Iraqi delegation and affirmed the university’s readiness to broaden existing memoranda of understanding, implement joint initiatives, and strengthen scholarly exchange.
The Al-Karkh representatives commended the academic progress of Iranian universities and expressed their interest in benefiting from the expertise of Imam Reza International University. The Scientific Vice President of Al-Karkh emphasized that the university’s experience would play a significant role in developing the Persian Language Center in Al-Karkh and the Kadhimiya Holy Shrine. The Director of the Science and Technology Park also highlighted the potential for collaboration in technology and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Houshmand, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stressed the importance of faculty exchange and the expansion of joint educational programs. Dr. Akbarzadeh, Director of the Innovation Center, identified support for talented students and the enhancement of international innovation-based activities as key priorities.
Ms. Rajabi, Director of the Persian Language Center, outlined recent international initiatives, including the “Refresher Training Program for Uzbek Persian Language Instructors,” and announced the upcoming establishment of a Persian Language Center in Iraq. She also expressed readiness to offer specialized training courses for shrine servants and teacher-training programs.
In conclusion, Dr. Davoodi, Director of International Affairs, emphasized the importance of strengthening academic partnerships with Iraqi universities and expanding regional scientific cooperation.
